Advanced Diploma in Interior Design

Program Overview

About the Program

The Advanced Diploma in Interior Design is designed to meet the demands of this challenging and expanding field. This is ideal for graduates of the Professional Diploma in Interior Design.

It prepares learners for their first significant role—whether professional or academic—by developing a clear understanding of three-dimensional design analysis in both spatial and object contexts. The program places strong emphasis on creativity and imagination, encouraging students to approach design with depth, originality, and purpose.

The concept of lateral design is central to the program, where students explore projects at multiple levels using experimental and analytical problem-solving techniques. Through practical design projects and lectures, learners are introduced to the fundamental principles of interior design, including drawing, presentation, surveying, materials, construction, specifying, design context, history of design, visual research, and computer-aided design (CAD).

By combining creative exploration with technical understanding, this diploma equips students with the skills and confidence to enter the interior design profession or pursue further academic studies in the field.
